Fires in central Qld deliberately lit

Fires that threatened a home and cane fields in central Queensland are believed to have been deliberate lit.

Firefighters have now put out the blaze that was burning on several fronts at Teemburra Dam west of Mackay on Thursday morning.

There have been no reported injuries or damage from the fires, which police say was intentionaly lit.
