Firefighter suspended over alleged assault
AAP
A Queensland firefighter has been suspended from duty while an internal investigation into an allegation of sexual assault is carried out.
The complaint, which was made to police, has since been withdrawn, a Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said on Wednesday.
However, it is policy for the Public Safety Business Agency Ethical Standards Unit to still carry out an investigation into misconduct.
