Two patients have been accused of attacking ambulance officers in separate incidents in southeast Queensland.

A female paramedic was treated in hospital for cuts and bruises after allegedly being punched in the head by a woman she was treating at a Toowong hotel on Sunday.

Police are interviewing the woman but no charges have yet been laid.

Two male ambulance officers were also punched in a separate incident at Landsborough, in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, on Sunday.

They'd been called to a home to treat a 32-year-old man, but he turned violent and punched them both. The officers didn't require medical treatment.

A taskforce has been looking at on-the-job violence faced by ambulance officers and is due to report back to the government early this year.
