Fatal crash in northern Queensland

A man has died after the van he was travelling in collided with a truck in north Queensland.

The male passenger of the van was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash on the Bruce Highway, south of Home Hill on Monday night.

The male driver of the van has been transported to the Ayr Hospital in a critical condition, while the male driver of the truck was treated for shock.
