Ex-Westpac manager to be tried for fraud

A former Westpac home finance manager has been committed to stand trial in Queensland for allegedly defrauding the bank of $2.5 million.
David St Pierre is facing seven charges of dishonestly inducting Westpac to deliver property between August 2008 and July 2013.
He was granted bail on Monday and is due to face the Southport District Court at a date yet to be set.
