Man arrested after Qld emergency situation

Police have revoked an emergency situation south of Brisbane and arrested a 38-year-old man.

They were called to the Logan suburb of Eagleby about 6.30am on Thursday after a man made threats while he holed himself up in a house with a gun.

An exclusion zone was set up about 8am while police negotiators spoke with the man.

He was taken into custody a few hours later without incident and is now assisting police with their inquiries.
