Emergency services have freed a pilot after a light plane crash in Queensland's Scenic Rim region.

Paramedics, police and firefighters were called to Degan Road at Dugandan, about an hour south-west of Brisbane, just before 11am today.

The man was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital with minor injuries.

Vision has shown debris from the plane scattered in grassland and emergency services surrounding the aircraft.

The cause of the crash is unknown.
