Queensland's Easter road toll has risen to two following the death of a man whose car hit a tree.

Police say the accident happened at Kianga, near Moura in central Queensland, early on Saturday.

It follows the death of a motorcycle rider at Red Hill, in Brisbane's northwest, on Friday.

The national Easter road toll now stands at five, with one death each in NSW, South Australia and Western Australia.
