Easter speed demons caught by Qld police

About 1400 Queensland motorists were caught speeding on Good Friday during an Easter traffic blitz by police.
A driver was caught doing 173km/hr in a 110km/hr zone on the Bruce Highway on the Sunshine Coast, while another was clocked doing 103km/hr in a 60km/hr zone at Capalaba in Brisbane's southeast.
Police conducted more than 12,300 random breath tests on Good Friday, with 56 people charged with drink-driving.
