Dreamworld ride reopens after accident

Dreamworld's popular log ride has reopened three days after a near-drowning at the Gold Coast theme park.

The long-running ride was closed on Sunday afternoon when a young man was taken to hospital after falling overboard, cutting his head and swallowing water.

It re-opened on Wednesday morning following an investigation by Dreamworld and Worksafe Queensland.
