Dog-eating crocodile removed from Qld lake
AAP
A 2.7 metre crocodile which ate a pet dog has been removed from a far north Queensland lake.
State government wildlife officers had been hunting for the crocodile since February 27, after it snatched a dog that was being walked off-leash beside Ferndale Lake, at Port Douglas.
The animal was finally caught on Friday and will be rehomed in a crocodile farm or zoo.
