Cows escape in Qld truck crash

Drovers have been rounding up cows on a southern Queensland highway following a cattle truck rollover.

There were 64 cows on the truck when it crashed on the Warrego Highway, near Warra, just before 11.30am (AEST) on Thursday.

The driver was taken to the Chinchilla Hospital with abdominal pain, while emergency services shut the highway down to one lane as drovers tried to recapture the cattle.
