Chemical leak sparks Brisbane evacuation
AAP
Scientific experts are conducting atmospheric testing after a chemical spill triggered an evacuation of commercial businesses in Brisbane's north.
The Banyo business has been cordoned off since a "strong odour leaking from a chemical container" was reported on Wednesday afternoon, a police spokesperson says.
The scientific officers were trying to identify the chemical and ensure it was at safe levels, according to Queensland Fire and Emergency Services.
