Man's body found in Brisbane River

Police are working to identify a man who was found dead in the Brisbane River.
A search for the man, who is believed to be in his 50s, was stared after his body was seen floating in the water near the Gardens Point CityCat Terminal in the city on Thursday night.
His body was found near the Eagle Street Pier just before 7am Friday.

While his death wasn't being treated as suspicious, police continued to appeal for information and are waiting on the results of an autopsy.
A police spokesman said there were no obvious injuries to the man, who had tattoos of a crocodile and a lizard on his right arm.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
