Boy in Qld hospital after almost drowning
AAP
A young boy is in hospital after nearly drowning in a public pool on the Sunshine Coast.
The six-year-old was submerged for about 30 seconds at the Kings Beach Ocean pool, at Caloundra, on Monday afternoon.
"The father has then brought the boy back to the top of the water. He was conscious, he was breathing, he has then regurgitated the water up," lifeguard supervisor Rhys Drury told ABC Radio.

The boy didn't require CPR, Mr Drury said.
He was taken to Nambour Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
