Boy attacked in vicious Brisbane robbery

Two men have staged a vicious attack on a 13-year-old boy before stealing his backpack in Brisbane.

The boy was walking in a Sinnamon Park street on Monday afternoon when the men jumped out of a stolen Mercedes and repeatedly punched him in the head and kicked him as he lay on the ground.

The pair fled with the boy's possessions. The young victim has been treated for bruising to his head, neck and stomach and a minor knee injury.
