Boy, 3, pulled from backyard Qld pool

A three-year-old boy has narrowly avoided drowning after being pulled unconscious from a backyard pool on the Gold Coast.
The toddler was found unresponsive by paramedics, who rushed to the Ormeau home just after 2pm on Wednesday, a Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said.
He regained consciousness and was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
