Boy, 10, serious after near drowning

A 10-year-old boy remains in a serious condition in hospital after nearly drowning in the Gold Coast hinterland.
He was rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital on Sunday morning but has since been moved to Brisbane's Lady Cilento Children's Hospital.
It's understood the boy got into trouble at an inland swimming spot near Advancetown, west of the Gold Coast.
