Kingaroy man charged as police uncover alleged backyard drug operation
Police have charged a 50-year-old man with drug offences following a search of his Queensland home.
At around 12pm yesterday, officers from the Kingaroy Criminal Investigation Branch and State Flying Squad executed a search warrant on a Doonkuna Street property in Kingaroy.
Police allegedly found nine cannabis plants, 1.14kg of dried cannabis, two growing devices, and drug utensils.

He has been charged with one count each of possession of dangerous drugs, production of dangerous drugs, supply of dangerous drugs, possession of things used in the commission of a crime, possession of a drug utensil, failure to dispose of a syringe, and obstructing police.
The man is expected to reappear at court on August 29 as the investigation continues.
