The rating system on Uber is two-way, with both riders and drivers able to give ratings for each other.

It is based off of the last 500 trips a rider has taken, meaning it can change quickly.

Passengers with a lower rating may find it harder to get a ride accepted by a driver.

Both drivers and riders are required to follow Uber's community guidelines, which include following the law, treating drivers and passengers with respect, and keeping safety front of mind at all times.
