Accused toddler killer gets fresh bail
AAP
One of the two men charged with the manslaughter of Queensland toddler Kyhesha-Lee Joughin will walk free from court after he was granted bail.
Christopher Arthur Neville Kent, 46, and Kyhesha-Lee's father, 30-year-old Matthew Lee Williamson, were remanded in custody on Wednesday after they were committed to stand trial charged with the manslaughter of the three-year-old in 2013.
In the first of two bail hearings, Kent was granted his freedom after Brisbane Magistrate Christine Roney determined his culpability was at the lower end of the spectrum.
