Accused father killer's case back in court

A Brisbane man accused of murdering his six-year-old daughter and trying to kill her eight-year-old sister has had his case briefly return to court.

The man, who can't be named, didn't appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday and had his case adjourned to December 14.

No application for bail was made and he was remanded in custody.

The father was charged with one count of murder and one count of attempted murder after his youngest daughter was found dead in her bedroom at the family's home in Kedron on September 7.
