Qld woman charged with murdering partner

A woman has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing her partner in far north Queensland.

Police were called to the Lockhart River home about 1pm on Tuesday, and transported the man to a medical clinic where he was declared deceased.

His partner was arrested a short time later and charged with his murder, and will appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court via videolink on Wednesday morning.
