An infant teether has been recalled over fears of potential choking.

The Riff Raff Baby "Riff the Fox" teether is shaped like a fox, with an orange body and white and black colouring on the face and ears.

In its recall notice, Product Safety Australia said the ears could detach from the main.

There is a risk of choking, suffocation, or death if the ear does so while an infant is using it.

Parents are urged to stop using the teether immediately and place it out of reach of children.

They can contact Riff Raff Baby to arrange a refund by phone on 0493 721 478, via email, or through the website.
