A teenager has escaped serious injury after his car crashed through the barrier of an overpass bridge and dropped five metres in Adelaide's north-east.
The P-plater allegedly went over the edge of the linear park overpass bridge on Ascot Avenue in Vale Park.

The Mitsubishi sedan landed on its roof but the 17-year-old boy from the suburb of Hendon walked away with minor injuries, according to police.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
