Beloved NSW Hunter Valley bistro Muse Kitchen to close its doors
A popular regional NSW bistro has gone under after abruptly announcing its closure in an email to customers.
Muse Kitchen in the state's Hunter Valley will shut its doors on May 19 and has cancelled all reservations made past the date.
In an email to customers with a booking, the restaurant wrote: "It is with great sadness that we must inform you we will not be able to accept your reservation... as our restaurant will be permanently closing from Sunday 19th May."

The restaurant said existing reservations made after May 19 were able to be moved to a sooner date.
"Thank you for your understanding."
Muse Kitchen is a European-style bistro situated on the estate of Keith Tulloch Winery in Polokobin.
It was awarded One Chef Hat in the Good Food Guide Awards in 2023, 2020, and 2019.
