CCTV footage released after suspicious house fire

Investigators have released CCTV footage after a suspicious fire tore through a property in New South Wales.

The house in Berkeley, Illawarra, caught alight at around 12.45am on January 5.

No one was home at the time, but the property was significantly damaged. No injuries were reported.

Police investigators set up a crime scene following the fire, and have released CCTV footage of a white sedan that was seen in Rhondda Street, near the home, at the time of the blaze.

Investigators wish to speak to the driver of the car, which was driving with the sunroof open.
