Police nab second man over alleged theft of Bluey coins
New South Wales detectives have charged a second man over the alleged theft of tens of thousands of limited edition $1 Bluey coins from a warehouse in Sydney's west last month.
Police received reports on July 12 that 60,000 coins had been stolen from a warehouse in Weatherill Park in Sydney's west.
The coins, produced by the Australian Mint and inspired by the popular children's show Bluey, had yet to be released.

NSW police established Strike Force Bandit to investigate the alleged theft of the coins.
Two weeks ago, police arrested a 47-year-old man for his alleged role in the theft after locating and seizing 189 of the coins from the home of a legitimate coin collector.
Today, strike force detectives – with assistance from Raptor Squad – arrested a 44-year-old man at a home in Canley Heights.

The man was taken to Fairfield Police Station, where he was charged with three counts of aggravated break and enter and committing a serious indictable offence.
He was refused bail to appear before Fairfield Local Court today.
Detectives will allege in court the 44-year-old man colluded with another man who worked at the warehouse to steal the coins.
