Police hunt for arsonist after car deliberately torched in Adelaide's north

Police are treating a car fire near Renown Park, in Adelaide’s north, as suspicious.

A green Toyota Kluger was engulfed by flames and completely destroyed around midnight in Swan Court last night.

The fire is believed to be deliberately lit, with an empty fuel can found in the car's front seat.

Firefighters worked for at least half an hour to extinguish the blaze.

Police are currently looking to the public for anyone who may be able to further assist in the investigation.
