Police condemn Gold Coast hoons after dangerous bridge stunt
A group of hoons has been condemned by police after filming themselves performing dangerous stunts on a Brisbane bridge.
The reckless driving, caught on camera by a notorious Gold Coast hoon gang, shows the drivers swerving across several lanes on the Gateway Bridge in Brisbane's east, bearing a Mexican flag.
Acting inspector Donna Stewart from Queensland Police said the stunts were incredibly dangerous.

"Just takes one split second, one wrong move and there is no doubt someone will die," she said.
The gang is known for conducting burnouts and other dangerous driving maneuvers through south-east Queensland's streets, sharing their exploits online.
"I don't know what they're compensating, clearly they have needs not getting met some other way and they're choosing to do this," acting inspector Stewart said.

Police have confirmed the social media videos will be used as evidence against the group.
Detectives said they will find the culprits and take them off Queensland roads.
"We have the power to take vehicles, impound vehicles and never give them back," acting inspector Stewart said.
