Police arrest man with name tattooed on back
Darwin police have arrested a man on-the-run after he took his shirt off, showing his name tattooed across his back.
The man allegedly took part in a vicious attack at a convenience store on Sunday, ABC News reports.
The male suspect and another man, asked a 27-year-old man if he wanted to buy some marijuana, police said.
When the man refused the pair, aged 21 and 22, allegedly punched and kicked him.
"After the assault they took their shirts off, placed them around their heads and ran around the block," NT Police Duty Superintendent Louise Jorgensen said.
"Helpfully one of the offenders had his name tattooed on his back, so it wasn't hard to locate him.
"We found him at a nearby bar and he was arrested."
The victim was treated in hospital for serious facial injuries.
