Perth woman admits to racially abusing neighbours

A Perth woman has pleaded guilty to racially abusing her African neighbours and threatening them with a metal crowbar.

Michelle Veronica Jcaobsen, 51, from Cloverdale, was filmed in March unleashing the tirade against Tumaini Magorwa and his wife Brenda, WA Today reports.

"I don't deal with monkeys. Get away monkey. Go on now, ya f---ing monkey...Jungle bunnies you are," she says while peering over her fence.

In a second video, Jacobsen can be seen on her neighbours' driveway wielding a crowbar as two men try to disarm her.

"You wanna rock? You wanna rock? Let's go," she says.

"Touch me and ya gutted, you yellow-eyed mother f-----r, now get back to where you came from."

She was knocked to the ground and sustained a cut to her face, before finally retreating.

Her lawyer David McKenzie said Jacobsen knew what she had done was wrong but she had reached "breaking point" as a result of "unceasing noise over months".

He said she hurt her wrist as a result of her fall, which had affected her work as a chef.

"She really is the only one who ended up suffering that day," Mr McKenzie said.

She will be sentenced later this month.
