Perth teen critical after train accident

A 16-year-old girl might have lost her legs when she was struck by a train near Perth's city centre.
Police say the accident occurred near the McIver train station just before 11pm (WST) on Sunday.
They say the girl was with a friend when it appears she tried to cross rail lines at the Moore Street intersection and was struck by a train.

The girl suffered serious injuries below her knees and was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital.
A hospital spokeswoman said she was in a critical but stable condition.
Police said her legs might have been severed.
