'Hey, old man': Attack outside Perth newsagent caught on camera
On the way to buy a lotto ticket at his local shops, Irwin Dodd didn't have luck on his side.
The 84-year old great-grandfather was ambushed and punched in the head by a stranger outside a newsagent in Perth's north-east.
Police hope newly released security video of the attack earlier this year will help them track down the man responsible.

"I heard this voice say, 'Hey, old man', I started to turn my head and saw this face see, and bang, he got me," Dodd told 9News.
Moments before, the 84-year-old had walked past two men fighting on a verge near the Ida Street shops in Bassendean.
"I don't know if I went dizzy or what. All I know is bang and I couldn't close me mouth properly and I couldn't get my denture back in, so I had to take it out," Dodd said.
Not to be deterred, the retired factory worker carried on into the newsagency to buy his lotto ticket.
He told the shop worker what happened and had started to walk home when the second man involved in the fight stopped to offer him a lift.

"He said 'He's a crazy man', he says, 'Please report it'," Dodd said.
He did just that but four months on, police are hitting dead ends.
"Everybody's got a father or a grandfather of Mr Dodd's age and you just need to put yourself in the family's shoes," acting Senior Sergeant Mason Ball said.
"And it could be your father that's been randomly targeted."
The 84-year-old is also hoping someone will dob in his attacker, described as an Asian man in his 30s with a neck tattoo.
"What's he going to do to the next person? Put them in hospital," he said.
