Parliament gets the Seinfeld treatment
What is the deal with Parliament?
A YouTube user who has become known for his creative blends of Australian politics and American popular culture has created a mash-up of Canberra and Seinfeld.
Huw Parkinson superimposed the heads of various characters from the groundbreaking '90s sitcom onto the bodies of various Australian politicians in this clip.
"This mob promised real solutions — all they are is part of the real problem of Australia," Opposition Leader Bill Shorten can be seen saying during Question Time.
"Well the jerk store called — they're running out of you," is the reply from a George Constanza-headed Tony Abbott.
Also featured in this clip is Channel 10 reporter Hugh Riminton being shouted down at a press conference by the Soup Nazi, and Joe Hockey being labelled a "rabid anti-Dentite" by Kramer.
In September Parkinson successfully edited Tony Abbott's head onto Adrien Brody's body in a clever parody of The Darjeeling Limited.
He told ninemsn the project took a week to make because he underestimated the size of Brody's head.
