Dozens of parcels stolen from Melbourne post office

A man is sought after 80 parcels disappeared from a post office in Melbourne's south-east last week.

It's believed the man broke into the post office on Florence Street, Mentone, with a jemmy bar at about 4.30am on Tuesday, December 17.

Once inside, police say, he used a trolley to load up the parcels before fleeing the scene.

He is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 175cm tall, with a large build and long, straight black hair.

He was last seen wearing black gloves, a black security jacket, brown shoes, and a black face covering.
