Palmer holds poorest voting record in the House

Clive Palmer has cast only 19 votes out of a possible 202 in almost a year as a lower house MP.
The Palmer United Party leader's record makes him the least active MP in the House of Representatives, the ABC reports.
Mr Palmer has attended only 19 of 202 divisions since entering Parliament. The MP with the next poorest record is Queensland's Katter's Australian Party Leader Bob Katter who has attended 57 counted votes.
Of the 19 votes Mr Palmer has cast, 13 were related to the carbon and mining taxes and associated votes on procedure.
Mr Palmer's party holds the balance of power in the Senate and the mining magnate has said he prefers to negotiate the passage of legislation in the upper house through his three PUP Senators and Victorian Senate partner Ricky Muir.
A spokesman for Mr Palmer said he had missed "one week because of the birth of his daughter" but attended Parliament on 70 percent of sitting days.
The spokesman added that Mr Palmer had spent "time campaigning in Tasmania and in Western Australia" for the re-run of the Senate election.
