One Nation staffer's profane texts exposed

One Nation staffer James Ashby has been accused of sending expletive-filled text messages to Senator Brian Burston after he defected from the party.

Senator Burston is preparing to reveal more of Mr Ashby's alleged behaviour under parliamentary privilege this week after he said he was labelled a "traitorous c***" in a text message tirade last month.

Mr Ashby's outburst came after the senator sent him a screenshot of polling figures showing One Nation's support had gone backwards, News Corp Australia publications reported on Sunday.
