Two people have died after a boating mishap off Tasmania's northeast coast.
Police were notified at 12.40am today after the pair failed to return from a boat trip at Waterhouse at the expected time and began a search.
A 35-year-old Ravenswood man was found by a family member on the shore at Waterhouse Point.

A second body was found a short time ago, along with the pair's dinghy, a fuel can and a lifejacket.
