Gentlemen start your engines. But first you have to go steal a car.
A racetrack filled with almost 50 cars - many of then stolen and many decked out with racing liveries and numbers - has been discovered in bushland near Darwin.
Vehicle identification numbers were recovered from more than 20 cars, some of which had been stolen and others involved in crashes or traffic offences, police say.

At least one of the cars was stolen four years ago and some were found burnt-out.
The majority of vehicles had their emissions control equipment removed.
The site was discovered by a business testing off-road vehicles last week.
This comes after stolen cars were found dumped in the Holtze quarry earlier this year.
