Man in NT hospital after waterfall jump
AAP
A man almost drowned at a Top End national park when he jumped eight metres into a waterfall plunge pool.
The man, 25, failed to surface at the popular Florence Falls in Litchfield National Park on Sunday afternoon.
He was found unconscious in the water and not breathing, but emergency workers managed to revive him and treated his chest and back injuries before he was flown to Royal Darwin Hospital in a stable condition.

It was the second rescue at Florence Falls in less than a month, after a 61-year-old Queensland woman collapsed while walking up the stairs from the pool and had to be airlifted to hospital.
