Guns stolen from Alice Springs business

An investigation's been launched into a break-in at an Alice Springs business after three guns were stolen.

Police say there was a break-in at the Smith Street business at some point between 10.30pm on Wednesday and 7am Thursday.

Two bolt-action rifles and a 12-gauge shotgun were taken.

A police spokeswoman said she was not aware of any damage done to the business or any other items stolen.

Police urge anyone who may have any information or anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to call 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
