Chardonnay bottles seized from NT home

An illegal alcohol supply chain in Alice Springs has been busted, police say.

It's alleged 41 bottles of chardonnay, 30 empty cartons and a quantity of cannabis were found during a raid of a home in Alice Springs.

Police said they suspect the alcohol was to be re-sold, which could return a potential yield of several thousand dollars.

A 34-year-old man and 23-year-old female will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
