NT cop suspended from duty

A Northern Territory police officer has been suspended from duty for alleged fraud.
The 53-year-old was suspended after receiving a notice to appear in court for alleged dishonesty offences, police said in a statement on Tuesday.
The officer is due to appear in the Darwin Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

Police say no further details will be released as the matter is now before the court.
