Women 'indecently assaulted' on NSW trains

A Sydney man who allegedly indecently assaulted two women, including one who was sleeping, on board a train has been arrested.

In the first incident, police allege the 35-year-old boarded a train at Fairfield during peak hour on September 7 when he assaulted a 29-year-old woman.

It's alleged he indecently assaulted another 26-year-old woman while she slept after boarding a train at Merrylands later that month.

The man was charged with two counts of assault with act of indecency and has been granted conditional bail to appear at Fairfield Local Court on October 28.
