Woman injured in stove explosion

A Sydney woman has been injured in a gas explosion after she tried to light the stove in her eastern suburbs' home.
Firefighters were called to the Vaucluse on Thursday morning after reports of an explosion in the kitchen.
The woman suffered minor leg injuries and was taken to St Vincent's Hospital in a stable condition.

Fire & Rescue NSW said structural engineers have been called in to assess the house.
