Woman charged after stabbing in Sydney

A woman has been charged after a man was stabbed multiple times at a home in Sydney's west.

The 50-year-old was found with stab wounds to his back, torso and leg on Thursday night and taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.

A 49-year-old woman was arrested at the home in Penrith and charged with wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. She was refused bail to appear before Penrith Local Court on Friday.
