Woman, 71, dies in single-car crash in NSW

A woman aged in her 70s has died after her car crashed into a tree north of Newcastle.
The 71-year-old was driving along Lisadell Road in Medowie just before 11am on Monday when the accident happened.
The woman died at the scene and police are investigating.
