Wanted NSW man assaults cops

A wanted man has allegedly assaulted police, pushing one officer into a wall, and been caught with ice in Sydney.

He was wanted on two outstanding warrants, and found with bags of heroin and ice in Ultimo on Tuesday afternoon, police say.

The man was refused bail to appear in the Central Local Court on Wednesday charged with drug offences, and assaulting and resisting police. The officers were treated for cuts and grazes.
