A 17-year-old boy is behind bars after allegedly stabbing two teenagers during a street brawl on Sydney's north shore.

The boy, who himself received head injuries during the fight in Cremorne, was refused bail on Sunday after being twice charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, police say.

He was allegedly fighting with two other 17-year-old boys on Spofforth Street about 12.30am before police arrived and arrested him.
